Whether used in fish pond cultures or recreational ponds, they have units ranging in size from 1/2 – HP to 1-HP in both single and dual propeller designs for high oxygen transfer.

Proper use of PowerHouse, Inc. aerators prevents fish stress and mortality, increases growth rate, reduces feed costs, removes carbon dioxide and ammonia, and prevents algae growth. And operating costs of PowerHouse, Inc. aerators are far lower than those of most other aeration units.

The high pumping volume degasses the water of nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide while raising D.O. levels. Degassing gets rid of nutrients which cause algae and weeds, resulting in both clearer water and decreased odor. Aeration also mixes the water, minimizing anaerobic zones in bottom water and bottom sediment surface.

This stimulates the conversion of potentially toxic ammonia to nitrate (also toxic), and finally to non-toxic nitrate. With our pre-assembled units, installation can be accomplished in just minutes! Because the units are light-weight, they can be easily moved from one location to another by a single person. These 3/4 and 1-hp units are available in either 115V or 230V with power cord lengths of 50, 100, 150 or 200 feet (200 feet in 230V only).
